Multiracial Festive Support Programs

Sharing Joy, Easing Burdens Across Malaysia’s Diverse Communities (2018 – Present)

Aligned SDGs:

In support of the United Nations’ call for inclusive and resilient societies, the Science and Wellness Organization (SWO) established the Unity in Celebration initiative to extend festive support to underserved communities across all major cultural celebrations in Malaysia — Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, and beyond.

Recognizing that celebrations can be emotionally and financially overwhelming for low-income families, SWO delivers aid, comfort, and joyful moments to Asnaf communities, public servants, and the general public—regardless of race or religion.

Objectives:

Abstract Shapes

To alleviate the festive burden for underprivileged families from all ethnic and religious backgrounds.

To promote national unity and multiracial inclusivity through acts of giving.

To support frontline workers and improve shared public facilities in underserved areas.

Key Milestones:

Donation of 100 rice bags and 100 dates packets before Hari Raya

Donation of TV, 4 linked chairs & 100 goody bags to public hospital

Sponsorship of 50 families with basic necessities during Chinese New Year

Sponsored Deepavali event with food and lucky draw for local participants

This initiative addresses:
