What is bacteria?

Bacteria constitute a large domain of prokaryotic microorganisms. Typically a few micrometres in length, bacteria have a number of shapes, ranging from spheres to rods and spirals.

Roles of bacteria

Anaerobic Bacteria VS. Aerobic bacteria

There are 2 types of bacteria :

1) Aerobes - An aerobic organism (aerobe) is an organism that can survive and grow in an oxygenated environment.

2) Anaerobes - Anaerobic organism (anaerobe) is any organism that does not require oxygen for growth.
